Last year, numerous smartphone brands alongside their subsidiary brands gained a lot of success with their state-of-the-art and completely baked smartphones such as Pocophone F1 and Realme 2. Not only Realme 2, but people also got their hands on five Realme smartphones whereas Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco released only one (Pocophone 1). Five Realme phones are currently available including Realme 1, Realme 2, Realme 2 Pro, Realme C1 and Realme U1. It appears that Realme is set to kick off in 2019 after shining back in 2018 with the budget-friendly smartphone named Realme A1. The rumours have already suggested that smartphone whereas Realme itself needs to confirm that report further.

An earlier report couple of days back showed that Realme A1 is nearly complete and it’s ready to shine on shelves. The launch schedule, however, has not yet been disclosed. Most important of all, some of the most important details of the Realme A1 have now been revealed.

Realme A1 Release Date

As mentioned above, Aussies have already got their hands on numerous Realme smartphones i.e. Realme C1, Realme U1, Realme 2 and 2 Pro and now Realme A1. The official Realme A1 release date isn’t announced, yet – but that cannot stop us putting our educated guess. The handset is all set to be released in India before March 2019 ends. Thus it’ll start arriving in stores worldwide before April 30th, 2019.

Very much like its official availability, Realme A1 Price is also unknown. Plentiful rumours and leaks have suggested that it’s expected to cost lower than Realme U1 which comes at $177. Thus, Realme A1 will be priced at approx. $140-155 – making up a mind for a little hike wouldn’t be wrong, though.

When we first talk about the renderers, the next Realme A1 won’t be any different from already released Realme phones. The phone has the same design language as Realme U1, Redmi 2 Pro, which concentrates on it. This means that the Realme A1 has a waterdrop like a notch that houses a selfie camera with some sensors. On the front, just one sensor will appear on the phone for the selfies click. The renders show both the front and back panels of the Realme A1 phone. On the rear of the next Realme A1, there will be a fingerprint sensor underneath the camera setup.

Realme A1 Features and Specifications

The Realme A1 is powered by a super-powerful 12-nanometer manufacturing process which is based on Helio P70 chipset from MediaTek. The Helio P70 has an octa-core CPU made up of Cortex-A73 and A53 cores. And is declared to be 15% more efficient as compared to competing 12nm processors. The Realme A1 comes in numerous ROM and RAM options. This variant houses 3GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard memory. A microSD slot for additional memory is also provided on your phone.

The Realme A1 is a budget handset with a 720 x 1520 pixel resolution and it’s an IPS LCD display. This panel is 6.2-inch diagonal and also has a small waterdrop like notch at the top. The Realme A1 comes with the largest ColorOS version which is also based on the Android 8.1 Oreo, similar to other Realme and Oppo devices. With regard to the battery, the Realme A1 is equipped with a large 4000mAh battery, which powers the device with relatively heavy usage for more than one day.

The Realme A1 has a dual camera on its back, with a 13-megapixel primary sensor attached to a smaller2-megapixel camera. For low light imaging, the phone also gets an LED flash on the rear. The phone also boasts a very powerful8-megapixel front-facing camera apart from these two cameras. The camera on the front has several modes of self-centeredness and many options for enhancement.
