A Quick Overview

The handset is a mid-range smartphone sporting flagship smartphone which is made of Metal Unibody design and comes with a notch display. The back side of 9N is covered by a dual rear sensor as well as a fingerprint scanner. The 9N can be considered as a cut-down variant of Honor 9 Lite (as mentioned above). The phone comprises a dual 13MP + 2MP rear sensors backed by AI-powered features, offering videos and images. The 9N also bears an LED flash to capture images in low-light condition. There’s a solid 16MP front-facing camera to assist video calls and selfies.

The Huawei Honor 9N is fuelled by an average 3000mAh non-removable battery which gives users Talk-Time up to 6 hours. And users can easily go through an entire day with a moderate use. Honor 9N doesn’t support fast charging, unfortunately. Performance-wise, it’s just fine thanks to its HiSilicon Kirin 659 Chipset along with 3/4GB of RAM which offers smooth and lag-free performance. You can indulge yourself in multitasking and can play graphics enriched games with ease.

Moving on its storage section, Honor 9N houses 32GB/64GB/128GB of onboard memory. The users can increase its onboard memory further up to 256GB with the help of microSD card. Display-wise, Honor 9N sports a 5.84” Full HD+ display with a notch atop. The notch hosts a frontal imaging unit, notification light, proximity sensor and an earpiece. The display, however, is sharp, crisp and bright and does excellent viewing angles.

Our Verdict

Another day and another mid-range smartphone from Huawei with flagship specs and super slim ergonomic design. The device houses a gorgeous display which comes with quite robust configurations underneath. The phone indeed plays a vital role whether it’s about performance, visuals or a camera. The only hiccups we’ve heard is that onboard memory could certainly be bigger and the battery doesn’t deliver a massive backup for intense gaming. Other than that, Honor 9N definitely earns its spot.
